Autumn Terms 1 and 2 ‘Around the World in 80 Days’
Our topic in Maple Class this term is “Around the World in 80 Days” where we will explore the locations visited by Phileas Fogg on his journey across the globe. Our Geography knowledge will be at the core of this topic, developing our map reading and navigation skills alongside learning about earthquakes, rivers and settlements around the world. We will also use our DT, Computing and Guided Reading lessons to explore world cuisine, design our own travel websites and think about where in the world we would like to adventure!
