Spring Terms 1 and 2 ‘Bath Throughout Time’
Our topic in Maple Class this term is “Bath Throughout Time” where we will explore how our local city has changed over the centuries. Our History knowledge will be at the core of this topic, developing our critical thinking skills to evaluate sources and step into the lives of those from the past. We will analyse key events and historical figures from the Roman and Georgian periods as well as exploring how Bath was affected during WWII. DT will be spent constructing our own Georgian toy theatres and during Guided Reading, we will examine historic documents uncovering what it was like to be a pupil at Batheaston many years ago…
