Autumn Terms 1 and 2 ‘People who changed the World’
Our first term in Cherry Class is about embracing change and transition. This includes our own learning journey but also the journey that key historical figures went on. We will dive into the lives of Emmeline Pankhurst, Florence Nightingale, The Wright Brothers and Thomas Edison, to name a few, to see how their work and lives changed the world. We will do this through inspiring books, a learning landscape of play based activities both child initiated and adult led and focused learning tasks. We will familiarise ourselves with the routines and expectations of year one and have lots of fun!
