Spring Terms 1 and 2 ‘All Around the World’
‘Welcome back to the Spring Term. This term we are embarking on an adventure around the world. We will learn how to use an atlas to find the 4 countries in the UK and the 7 continents. The children will learn about different cultures around the world through Geography, D.T. and Art lessons. In D.T. we will have the opportunity to cook various cuisines, in art we will be exploring the life and work of Kenojuak Ashevak from Canada and Emily Kame Kngwarreye from Australia. It is an inspiring and engaging topic and the children are invited to bring in a show and tell every Friday as long as it relates to the topic.’
