Summer terms 1 and 2 ‘Stone Age to Iron Age’
This term pupils will be learning about life in the different periods of The Stone Age (Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, and Neolithic) up to The Iron Age. They will discover how life has changed over time from the first hunter-gathers to Neolithic villages and the first farmers. The pupils will also discover about life in The Bronze age and be able to compare the different periods of time. We will be using books such as Stig of the Dump and Stone Age Boy to link our topic throughout the curriculum.
