The School Accommodation

Batheaston village is sited on the outskirts of the city of Bath, and is a well-established community with a wide mix of housing provision. The school is situated in quiet and picturesque surroundings, nestling against the brook at the bottom of St. Catherine’s Valley.

We are extremely fortunate to have a beautiful original Victorian classroom block, with a new hall and two new classrooms currently under construction.  These have been carefully and sustainably designed through consultation with children, parents, staff, Governors and the local community.

We are also developing an outstanding outdoor learning environment adjoining the school site, with ongoing plans to further improve the school playground space to incorporate a pond and new facilties for our school pets (pygmy goats, guinea pigs etc.), together with a Music Pavilion which houses our Steel Pans. 

The site is accessible for disabled children and visitors, including ramps, toilet facilities, etc.
